BIGSCAN, Inc. is a specialist in 3D scanning and imaging technology for dental and medical imaging, founded in March 2023. It develops the EndoSight intraoral camera based on ultra-compact CMOS sensors, a gantry-free One-Shot CT, a 3D IO-Scanner, Electroceuticals, and a Dental X-ray & Generator (for CBCT).
An ultra-precise intraoral camera used directly in the dental surgical field. A color CMOS sensor and Dual LED illumination let you observe the inside of root canals and periodontal pockets. Imaging is 400 × 400 (160K), 10-bit, 30 fps, with a 120° DFOV, and the tip is 2.1 mm thick. See the Intraoral Camera page for full specifications.
The head is interchangeable, with two options: 135° (ES-160K-135) and 90° (ES-160K-90). The set measures 212 mm / Ø26 mm and weighs 91 g; the head is 112 mm / Ø26 mm, 28 g, and the body is 100 mm / Ø26 mm, 63 g.
It connects over USB with a UVC image interface and is powered by USB +5VDC. The package includes a USB cable (1000 mm), a USB-A to USB-C gender adapter and a holder.

BIGSCAN holds a Medical Device Manufacturing License (No. 9232) and a Medical Device Manufacturing Certificate (No. 26-1041), and is certified to ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System). ISO 13485 certification for medical devices is in progress. BIGSCAN also holds a Certificate of Venture Enterprise and a Corporate R&D Center Certificate.
Conventional CT scans by rotating the X-ray source (rotation + linear motion). BIGSCAN One-Shot CT arranges X-ray sources in 3D on the surface of a sphere and acquires a 3D image in a single shot without any motion. See the One-Shot CT page for details.
